The Director of Melbourne Shipbrokers, Peter Douglas, has extensive industry knowledge and connections at all levels of the industry after a fishing career spanning 35 years in four major fisheries. The Family Fishing Company, Douglas Fishing Company Pty Ltd commenced trading as Melbourne Shipbrokers, Marine Brokers in January 1996.

With a workforce of four, this busy brokerage has developed over the last ten years into one of the major commercial marine brokerages in Australia.

To date the company has enjoyed great industry support, and will continue to develop with the Commercial Fishing Industry.
